Rancho Santa Margarita Gives Residential Customers Four Free Bulky Pickups Each Year

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA — CALIFORNIA58 LOCAL REPORT. Rancho Santa Margarita’s current collection-service guide says residential customers can schedule four no-additional-cost bulky-item pickups per calendar year with CR&R.

A limit on each appointment

A pickup may contain up to four eligible bulky objects, or as many as 20 bags of green waste, according to the city’s residential service page. Ordinary curbside trash collection does not replace a scheduled bulky pickup.

Electronic waste is covered separately

The city also describes complimentary collection of electronic waste. Exact material acceptance, appliance preparation and special restrictions should be confirmed through the hauler.

How to claim the benefit

Call CR&R at 877-728-0446 to schedule and verify the items for the address. The residential service page is the stronger source for current benefits than an older city property-maintenance document that lists a different pickup count.
